Beaminster is a 5 minute drive away and can supply all your catering needs from the butchers, bakers, deli, etc. to ready made meals, Fish & Chips, Pizza and Chinese take-aways.
Local facilities:- 24 hr cash machine, HSBC bank, Post Office, chemist, gift shops, cafes and newsagents. On Sundays the French bakers, newsagents and Co-op are open. There are lots of good pubs and restaurants in the area.
Extras we can offer on request: - Babysitting, Basics Box (contents for first breakfast and lunch). Both subject to availability.

Self Catering at Badger's Cottage
The cottage has lots of space yet is cosy in winter with its central heating and open log fire. Perfect for families, 2 couples or 3 generations it can sleep 7 in beds plus it has a sofa bed. Cots can go in any of the bedrooms. Relax in the large fenced in garden where children can play safely and not wander off. From April to October there is a sunroom available which is attached to the cottage and looks out over the garden.
Upstairs:
The Blue Room:- twin beds plus child's single bed.
Front Bedroom:- king-size bed.
Children's Room:- set of bunk beds.
Bathroom:- shower, toilet and hand basin.
Downstairs:
Living Room:- sofa, double sofa bed, 2 arm chairs, T.V., d.v.d.,
log fire (Childproof fireguard if required).
Dining room:- seats 8, portable c.d./radio.
Bathroom:- bath with integral shower, toilet and hand basin.
Kitchen:- dish washer, electric and oil fired cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, overhead clothes airer.
Sunroom:- (Available April to October) leading out to fenced-in garden with table and chairs.

Price includes:- All bed linen (duvets), towels (bath sheet adults, bath towel children, hand towels), tea towels, hand towels & dishcloth, washing up liquid, 2 toilet rolls, bottom sheet for cot, linen for sofa bed, tea/coffee & biscuits on arrival, a farm tour to meet the animals.
Cheque or cash please. We do not accept credit cards.
Changeover day - Friday.
Weekend Breaks - 3 nights Friday to Monday. Midweek Breaks - 4 nights Monday to Friday.
